Our work encompasses the restoration and repair of antique, reproduction and modern furniture, including cabinet repairs. We can undertake gilding as well as the polishing of wooden pieces, including applying traditional and modern finishes on request. Furniture can be reupholstered in our workshop, as well as caning and rushing on appropriate items, as part of restoration work on individual items. Leather work can be replaced on desks or other items in our workshop. Furthermore, we are skilled in repairs to clocks that are valuable because of their age or significance.

We carry out insurance work where required. All our projects are carried out with the skill, care and attention you would expect from highly experienced craftsmen and the materials we use in our restoration work are of the best quality.

There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to our services, so we assess each item we are asked to work on upon its own merits, its condition and your own expectations for the repair or restoration. We are happy to visit your premises and give you a general estimate of price, then collect and return the piece to you once the work is complete.
